Our Story

Butter and Cake began in a Brampton home kitchen with a simple belief: a cake made without eggs should never taste like a compromise. Every cake is baked fresh to order with premium ingredients — real butter, fine chocolate, real vanilla — and finished by hand.

From intimate birthdays to grand weddings, our cakes have been the centerpiece of celebrations across the GTA — some shared with hundreds of thousands of viewers online.

  • Handcrafted, one at a time. Slight variations from photos are the signature of handmade — never a flaw.
  • Tiered cakes contain food-safe dowel rods for stability. Please remove before serving.
  • Colours may vary slightly from screen to cake; deep tones (black, red, navy) may tint hands and mouth.
  • Decorative elements are food-safe but not always edible — please remove toppers before serving young children.
  • Fresh fruit cakes are best enjoyed the day of pickup or delivery.

Are all your cakes really eggless? +

Yes — 100% of our cakes are eggless, always. No exceptions, no compromises on taste.

How far in advance should I order? +

All tall and custom cakes need 5–7 days notice. Wedding tiers need 3–4 weeks. The earlier, the better — send an order request and we'll confirm availability.

How does pricing work? +

Every cake shows a starting price for the 6″ size (serves 8). Larger sizes, extra tiers, hand-piped details and fresh florals adjust the quote. Personalized chocolate plaques are $10. Your final quote always comes before we bake.

Can you recreate a design I saw online? +

Absolutely. Mention it in the order form or send us a photo on WhatsApp or Instagram and we'll recreate it — or use it as inspiration for something uniquely yours.

Do you deliver? +

Yes — across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area. Delivery fees depend on distance; pickup is always free.

Do you accommodate allergies? +

We offer nut-free options and vegan versions of our signatures on request. Tell us your needs in the order form and we'll guide you.
